Jennifer ("Jenna") has been practicing Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine since 2005 and has worked in diverse settings from community style acupuncture, detox and recovery, women’s health, birthing centers and private practice.

She became interested in medicine as a  young child through her own health issues and seeing family members and animals suffer with their own health and emotional challenges.   As she grew older difficult health and emotional experiences shifted her focus toward holistic healing and herbs as a teen.   After she finished her undergraduate degree and internship she was drawn to continue exploring holistic healing and medicine.  Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine was so simple and logical and had years of continuous effective use all over the world, it became crystal clear that was the next step on her path.   During the year before she went back to school, she studied while working in the health food supplement industry and apprenticed at the National Center for the Preservation of Medicinal Herbs.

Jenna participates in yearly continuing education to enhance her treatment skills.  Her unique experiences with the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy,  Maya Spiritual Healing, various energy healing traditions add to her perspective and skill set.  In 2010, she studied for a month in Peru with indigenous Q'ero paqos (medicine people).  She has also spent time in Brazil with the spiritualism traditions there.   Craniosacral therapy, essential oil energetics according to Chinese Medicine,  5 element  techniques are also influences on her work.  Treatments are personalized to your needs.
